Shae Strom, MSW, LCSW

Shae Strom, MSW, LCSW

Behavioral Health Care Manager
Master of Social Work
Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Shae Strom, MSW, LCSW, is a therapist with the Trauma Response Program (TRP). Shae was raised in St. Louis and graduated from Washington University Brown School of Social Work with her master’s degree in 2019. Shae interned with the TRP in her first year of graduate school and quickly became passionate about working with kids and their families after they experienced trauma. Following her work with the TRP, Shae continued to learn about the effects of trauma through working for the Veterans’ Affairs hospital in the inpatient psychiatry unit. Her passion for working with individuals after experiencing trauma continued, and she quickly realized she wanted to continue this work in the context of working with children. Shae began working with the TRP in January of 2020 under the supervision of Jennifer Holzhauer, MSW, LCSW. Shae specializes in her practice with Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI), and Integrative Treatment for Complex Trauma (ITCT) with individuals who are between the ages of 7 to 17.

Outside of work, Shae enjoys photography, spending time with friends, walking her dog Patches, and exploring new restaurants and coffee shops in St. Louis.
