The Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS) is an evidence-based outpatient treatment offered through the CONNECT Program for adolescents ages 12–17 experiencing suicidal thoughts or who have recently attempted suicide. CAMS is a collaborative, short-term approach that helps teens and families understand the factors contributing to suicidal thoughts while building skills to improve safety, coping, and emotional well-being.

Treatment typically lasts 4–12 sessions and includes active caregiver involvement. Services are available in person and virtually, and most major insurance plans, including Medicaid, are accepted.
